About Max Ferrer.
Max Ferrer is the co-founder of Phillipe, the AI video editor for creators, which he started with Sebastian Gonzalez Capdevielle. He is self-taught in AI, and before Phillipe he founded One1 Studio and Oprators. His work starts with the same question every time: where is the real bottleneck?

I co-founded Phillipe because editing took longer than filming.
Phillipe is an AI video editor that turns footage of you talking into a finished, designed short, vertical 9:16 or horizontal 16:9. I co-founded it with Sebastian Gonzalez Capdevielle, and it is the main thing I am building.
It started with a diagnosis, the same one I use with businesses. For people who make short-form video, ideas were not the bottleneck, and neither was the camera. The mechanical edit was: finding the clean take, cutting pauses and filler, timing captions and placing supporting clips. Together, those steps took longer than the filming.
So we built Phillipe to do that part, and to make the result look designed rather than captioned: word-by-word kinetic typography, a hero word carrying each line, script and serif accents, text that can sit behind the speaker and B-roll cut on the spoken beat. The person on camera reviews the cut and makes the final call.
TIMELINE
From a failed first company to Phillipe.
I loved technology and coding before AI became mainstream, and began teaching myself about artificial intelligence shortly before ChatGPT was released. Knowing AI did not automatically mean I knew how to build a business around it. The most important lessons came from building, failing, changing the approach and trying again.
Saw the business opportunity
When ChatGPT arrived, I was fourteen. It was dramatically more capable than the tools I had used before, and I saw that AI would become accessible to almost every business.
Built a company that found no clients
I knew the technology but had no niche, no positioning and no clear way to market an outcome. The company never took off.
Rebuilt around business problems
I stopped selling “AI” and started studying workflows, bottlenecks and measurable results. That approach led to real clients and revenue. Today One1 Studio is the AI development studio behind Phillipe.
Turned experience into guidance
I created Oprators to help beginners and intermediate builders learn the technical and business thinking required to become AI operators.
